1. Dear Mr. Kim : 교과서적인 표현을 썼다. ‘~에게’라고 표현할 때 ‘Dear’를 쓴다는 것은 한국의 영어 시간에 다들 배우는 표현이므로 익숙할 것이다. 기본적인 표현이 가장 무난할 수 있다는 것을 뜻한다.

We are engaged by the shareholder of 1CryoBio to sale 1CyroBio, a Swiss Company. : 첫 문장에 누구로부터 소개를 받았다는 것을 명시하고 본인이 ‘1CryoBio’라는 스위스 바이오 벤처기업의 투자유치를 대행하는 에이전시로 위임을 받았다는 것을 밝힘으로써 본 메일의 목적을 서두에서 밝히고 있다. 여기서 오해하지 말아야 할 것은 ‘sale 1CyroBio a Swiss Company’라는 표현이다. 회사를 매각하겠다는 뜻으로 오해할 수 있는데, 여기서는 회사를 매각하겠다는 뜻이 아니라 회사의 주식을 매각한다는 뜻, 즉 투자유치를 희망한다는 뜻이다.

As a result of COVID-19 the need for reliable and safe systems increased tremendous. Due to a faster market entry we like to sell 1CryoBio instead to build up our own Distribution network. : 1CryoBio라는 회사가 개발한 제품에 대한 설명을 하고, 왜 투자유치를 받으려 하는지에 대해서 간략하면서도 인상 깊게 적어놨다. 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 코로나 상황에 적합한 제품이라는 것도 어필했다. 제품은 개발이 완료되었고, 투자유치만 되면 유통망을 구축하여 매출이 바로 발생할 수 있다는 뜻이다.
